Dr. Courtney R. Morgan was born into a family of music. He is the son of the renowned Living Legend, Derrick S. Morgan, the Jamaican King of Ska, who shaped the evolution of Jamaican rhythms into today’s reggae sound. Dr. Morgan’s familial ties to the entertainment industry extend even further, with his sister, the renown Queen Ifrica, and his uncle, prominent record producer Bunny “Striker” Lee. Surrounded by these talented musical role models, it is no surprise that Dr. Morgan’s passion for music developed at an early age along with his steady exposure to the musical elements that flowed daily through his life. Among his favorite memories of those times, are the occasions when he accompanied his father and uncles to the studio where he became a part of the frequent and close interactions with music legends such as Desmond Dekker, Bob Marley, and Jimmy Cliff. Late nights in the studio were also all too familiar to him. Long days, back stage at concerts, and behind the scenes production and promotion, became routine experiences that continued long after he left his home country of Jamaica. As a native islander, Dr. Morgan spent five years in Kingston, Jamaica, before being sent as a forerunner to live in the United States – as in those days, migration of an entire family was typically achieved gradually. He was immediately injected into the heart of Miami in an area that is still largely impoverished and saturated with culturally rich Hispanic influence. Like many immigrants that make up the fabric of our country, Dr. Morgan was raised in a household with the traditional ideals of a strong work ethic and self-discipline. And not unlike many children of immigrants, he became an ambassador for his family at a very young age. This instilled a sense of self and leadership that has come to define him. Dr. Morgan independently navigated the educational system, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Miami. He then obtained his Medical Doctorate at Howard University School of Medicine. He returned to his South Florida hometown to complete his residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in the Department of Family Medicine. During his academic pursuits, he remained closely involved in the music and entertainment industry. While practicing medicine, Dr. Morgan nurtured his innate love for music. He recorded two R&B singles “Wassup, Wassup,” featuring his sister, Lavern, and reggae single,“I Like the Way”featuring Keka and Lo’Grando. In April of 2011, Dwayne “Lil’ Wayne” Carter and Young Money Entertainment extended to Dr. Morgan the opportunity for him to perform his two singles at Lil Wayne’s concert in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. His songs were the opening numbers at the concert, and with dreadlocks hanging below his shoulders, flashing about with every bounce, Dr. Morgan introduced himself to the music world as the artist, Grand Police. On the arena stage, Grand Police effortlessly transformed his songs into a high energy and charismatic performance. His set concluded with shouts of praise in his native Patios dialect, which was well received and echoed by some members of the audience. As a physician, Dr. Morgan has an intense interest and love for life and humanity, and possesses a natural desire to help others. His Jamaican musical roots and Miami background led him to create a VIP practice where he tends to high profile patients ranging from professional athletes to celebrity artists. While a true “Doctor for the Stars,” he presents challenges on many fronts. Yet, his integrity, positive attitude, and consistent approach to life enabled him to rise above many unforeseen the undueobstacles. Even now, he continues to progress in a manner that defies his surroundings, adverse or otherwise, always promoting fair play and reminding others of the most important things in life: consistency of friendship, commitment to family and decency in our interactions with others. He is an ethical rock and moral compass to all who know him.
Dr. Tywaun Tillman is a South Carolina native whose exceptional athletic abilities and passion for helping others, have brought him full circle as a physician and mentor. Dr. Tillman is driven by his desire to help others. It is no surprise that he has established the most admirable reputation amongst patients which earned him the 2014 Patient’s Choice Award as well as the 2014 Compassionate Doctor Award. However, it is surprising that medicine was not his first love. As a child, Dr. Tillman developed an affinity for sports. Immersed in his Little League baseball practices and games, he recognized his own aptitude for athletic performance. It was around this time that he also discovered that he was afflicted with severe asthma. However, this did not derail or discourage him from engaging in what he enjoyed most, sports. As Dr. Tillmancontinued to nurture what nature had given him, at the young age of 12, he began to draw the attention of professional scouts. Over time he expanded into football and basketball, and excelling in these three sports annually became the norm. During his high school senior year, he was named a “pre-season All American,” an achievement stunted by a right leg fracture sustained during a football practice. Despite the fact that his injury did not permit him to play the entire football season, his track record, talent and perseverance in pursuing his love for sports enabled him to qualify for and to receive several athletic scholarship offers. Dr. Tillman attended Furman University as a biology major and “red-shirted” his first year. During his junior year, he suffered an injury that ended his football career when he fractured two vertebrae in his neck. Although he had been immersed in sports for much of his life, he did not neglect his educational purpose, but was equally immersed in his academics. He had selected Furman University because of their academic program. He had chosen to major in biology, with a pre-medical track. He graduated cum laude, something he had worked towards during his entire college career. Essentially, Dr. Tillman was prepared to travel either path, sports or medicine, as opportunities unfolded. Dr. Tillman earned his Medical Doctorate from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, in Internal Medicine, while simultaneously working as an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine. He continued additional specialty training in an elite cardiology fellowship program at the University of South Florida. Although a successful cardiologist, he has not abandoned his first love, and it is through this avenue that he gives back to his community. Dr. Tillman’s scope of mentorship extends beyond his local commune, into his home-state of South Carolina and down to educational stomping grounds in South Florida. In Texas, he mentors at risk youths through a local program called Second Chance Boxing Club/Outkast Boxing. His motto is, “Learn from the past, live in the present, and aim for the future.” He believes that setting goals early in life is paramount to achievement, and every ‘Plan A’ must have its ‘Plan B,’ where academics never falls to the wayside. Dr. Tillman exercises a consistent approach to life, duplicating the mentorship formula that inspired him, to help inspire others.

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., better known as Lil Wayne aka Weezy, aka Tunechi, aka Tune, is the founder of Young Money Entertainment. Initially, he was a part of the hip-hop group Hot Boys, with whom he released three albums. After the members of the group separated,Weezyreleased his own solo album, Tha Block Is Hot, on Cash Money Records which went Platinum and since then,Tunechi has not stopped – only aiming higher. Lil Wayne‘s own struggle, from nothing to everything, shows that he has the expertise to guide others through the same path and, as he has made no secret, to make him more money
Having released eleven solo studio albums to date, Wayne has enough knowledge about the industry to be able to lead the Young Money army to the top of the charts. Weezy has shown that he has an eye for talent as he has spotted “diamonds in the rough” who have then shot, to fame and fortune, thanks to his guidance. This includes (the likes of) Drake and Nicki Minaj. Tune also has a different approach to signing talent because he handpicks artists that he likes personally rather than individuals who he thinks the mass public will like. Additionally, Lil Wayne is famous for having a laid-back approach to his artists as he allows them full creative control over their materials.

Derrick Morganis a musical artistpopular in the 1960s and 1970s. He worked with Desmond Dekker, Bob Marley, and Jimmy Cliff, in the rhythm and bluesand skagenres, and he also performed rocksteadyand skinheadreggae. A member of the classic first wave of Jamaican ska artists, Derrick Morganwas among the genre's founding fathers, emerging alongside pioneers including the Skatalites, Laurel Aitken, Prince Busterand Desmond Dekker. Morganwas raised in Kingston, the capital of Jamaica. Morgan was exposed to a variety of musical sources spanning from New Orleans R&B to the choral music of the nearby church where his father served as deacon. At the age of 17, he took top honors at the annual Vere John's Opportunity talent show, delivering blistering renditions of Little Richard's"Long Tall Sally" and "Jenny Jenny," and in 1959 teamed with producer Duke Reidto record his debut single "Lover Boy." Morgan's follow-up, "Fat Man," was a smash throughout Jamaica, and he later scored with recordings of "Leave Earth" and "Wigger Wee Shuffle," both cut with the legendary Clement "Coxsone" Dodd. By 1960, Morganwas the unrivaled King of Ska -- at the peak of his popularity, he was the first and only Jamaican artist to date to hold down the top seven slots on the national pop singles chart during the same week, generating a string of smashes including "Be Still," "In My Heart," "Don't Call Me Daddy," "Moon Hop," and "Meekly Wait and Murmur Not." In 1961, he recorded his biggest hit ever, "Housewives' Choice," and a year later -- in celebration of Jamaica's emancipation -- he recorded the first independence song, "Forward March." Morganand Prince Buster, arguably the two biggest ska performers of the era, became embroiled in a fierce musical feud which quickly spilled over among their respective fans, and as of 1963, disputes between the two camps became so heated that leaders of the newly formed Jamaican government were forced to intervene, calling a “cease-fire” and bringing the two performers together for publicity photos to bury the hatchet. In 1966, Morganissued "Tougher Than Tough," widely credited as the first record in the rocksteady genre. He continued to innovate in the years to follow -- among his most enduring contributions were "Went to the Hop" (the first Jamaican song with an electric bass guitar), "Blazing Fire" (the first song to employ an electric piano), "Love Not to Brag" (the first duet with a female artist, Millicent Patsy Todd), and "Seven Letters" (the first reggae song, produced in collaboration with brother-in-law Bunny Lee). Morganalso produced many of the era's most notable up-and-comers, among them Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, and Garnet Silk. He migrated to Britain in 1963, but continued performing as a musician.Derrick remained a towering figure in Jamaica throughout the remainder of the decade.Unfortunately, in the late ‘70’s Morgan began having problems with his vision, so he cut back on his performing schedule. Although his fame began to slip, he continued recording regularly in the years to follow. Morgan relocated to Miami in the 80’s and continued recording and performing live shows in the U.S, Canada, Europe, and Asia. In 2017, Radiation Roots Records reissued Morgan’s 1977 reggae effort People Decision. Today, Morganstill performs occasional live dates and festival bookings, and periodically returns to the recording studio.

Kingston was discovered on Myspace by Tommy Rotem at Beluga Heights, and signed to the label in a partnership deal with Sony. In an interview with Hit Quarters label, head and producer J.R. Rotem described this process with regards to Kingston: “Sean Kingston was a rapper when we found him, and it was a development process to get him more melodic. At Beluga we essentially refined the talent so that it's more of a marketable product.” In a venture between Epic Records and Koch Records, Kingston recorded and released the single "Beautiful Girls” in May 2007. The song peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. "Beautiful Girls" was a success internationally, topping the charts in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, Spain and the United Kingdom. In the latter country, the song spent four weeks at the summit of the UK Singles Chart. In 2007, Kingston was the opening act for Gwen Stefani’s The Sweet Escape Tour and for select dates on Beyoncé’s, The Beyoncé Experience Tour. In 2008, he was one of the opening acts for the Australian leg of Kelly Clarkson’s My December Tour. Since Sean is a Jamaican singer, he got his stage name from the capital of Jamaica called Kingston.

"One Woman Army" was a top-forty hit in France, Spain, and Wallonia, outselling all of her previous singles in France and becoming her first number-one hit on that country's iTunes chart. After the release of her first single, Lil Wayne invited her on the second half of his I Am Music Tour as an opening act. She made her first televised appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, performing "This Is What Rock n' Roll Looks Like". Musically, she fuses industrial themes with pop music conventions such as electronic synths and a heavy reliance upon hooks. She is best known for her guttural vocals and two-toned hair. She considers her music the "love child" of Marilyn Manson and Britney Spears. Vocally compared to Courtney Love, Porcelain Black was approached to record backing vocals for Love's 2008 album.
Ventrice Morgan, whose stage name, Queen Ifrica, is a reggae singer and disc jockey from the hills above Montego Bay, Jamaica. With roots firmly secured in the Rastafarian faith, she blossomed as one of the top cultural artists in reggae, swarming the airwaves with hits like “Randy”, “Jus My Brethren”, “Below the Waist” and “Daddy” and stealing the stages at major festivals and stage shows around the world (Summer Jam in Germany, Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, Bob Marley Festival, Reggae on the River in California and Reggae Sundance Festival in Holland). Working for, and directly with Mr. Goldstein, Horace developed expertise in accounting for the music and TV/film industries, while also being exposed to thesales/negotiationside of Business Management. As a beneficiary of the rapid rise and success of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “Bad Boy Entertainment”, Horace garnered a cache of clients, including a contingent of Bad Boy’s producers, called the "Hit Men". Horace's growing client base caused himto be recruited by, and ultimately accepted an offer from, one of the largest and most prestigious firms, Provident Financial Management. While at Provident, Horace worked closely with the Business Managers for renown artists such as Madonna, Boyz-II-Men, Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman, Jay-Z and Dave Matthews. Horace’s client roster continued to grow, but even more rapidly. As his burgeoning reputation grew, it became obvious that was time to become a partner or to launch his own company. In 1999, Horace became a partner at boutique firm, V. Brown & Co. He was the Senior Managing Director and Head of the New York office. A year later Horace finally formed his own firm by partnering with Solomon Smallwood, and in 2000 he launched MadisonSmallwood Financial Group (“MSFG”). From 2000 through 2006. MSFG was one of the most recognizable and respected, minority-owned Business Management firms in the music industry. However, MSFG’s natural market and client base was comprised of almost exclusively urban music talent. The advent of Internet Piracy, illegal down loading of music, and file sharing, crippled the record industry and created the need for a different business model. Horace and Solomon developed different aspects of marketing within the music industry, so they parted ways in 2007, thus Madison Financial Group was spun off from MSFG. Horace’s vision for MFG wasto develop a more diversified client base, stretching widely across music, sports and entertainment. Additionally, Horace wanted to focus on small businesses and entrepreneurial ventures for clients. Most important of all, he wanted to create a different narrative. Despite their success, Madison and Smallwood had very different philosophies, about business, clients and people overall. MFG was Horace’s opportunity to create a different culture within his own firm. He wanted Business Management to mean business growth and development, financial Education and most important of all, the accumulation of wealth. Wealth, both in terms of tangible things like money/assets and also the intangibles, giving back to the community, good moral standards, setting positive examples for young people and overall peace of mind. These goals grew out of Horace’s childhood. Horace was born and raised in Harlem. He attended Columbia Grammar on the upper west side of Manhattan. However, he chose to attend public school in White Plains, because he wanted a more diverse, high school experience. He attended Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA,where he was a 3-year-starter on the football team, and an All-conference defensive back/punt returner. After almost 30 years in the working world, Horace stepped down as the Business Manager/CFO for one of the biggest music stars and his record label. In 2014 Horace decided to “clean house”, parting ways with clients whom he simply could not help change their financial destinies, irrespective of the significant compensation he was receiving. Horace used this “down time” to obtain a Master of Business Administration – Finance at the University of Miami. He was accepted into a unique Executive MBA Program, exclusively for professional athletes and entertainers. Horace’s name, reputation and familiarity with celebrities allowed him to obtain a special opportunity to apply and gain admission into this program. Ultimately the experiences in, and the relationships developed in this program, led to a slightly different business model for Horace. Currently, Horace maintains a diversified balance of businesses in which he invests and retains clients for whom his company provides services across the management spectrum. Horace now has a diversified client base, consisting of music artists, producers and writers; professional athletes; TV/film actors, writers, producers and directors; plus business executives and entrepreneurs. Some of these entrepreneurial ventures and clients include: BrioTV a new digital/OTT platform aimed at delivering family-oriented visual content; a mobile application development company targeting women and minorities; a branded prepaid debit card program promoting financial literacy; a device that quantifies and qualifies hits to the head, to better manage and avoid concussions; a new TV show that identifies problems in small downs in various countries in Africa, then provides solutions using technology; Launching a boy band inout of London, beginning with a promotional tour in conjunction with Varsity Cheer. MSI represents Varsity Cheer, giving access to more than two million cheerleaders, ages 8-18 years old. Regardless of whether it is a business client or business venture,or anyone with whom Horace works, he tries to make sure they have a desire to do more than just make money simply to spend it. This has fed into Horace’s life model which is – to pursue quality of life over quantity of possessions and money. Personally, Horace divides his time between his residence in Miami Beach and his hometown Harlem/NYC. His private time is dedicated to “his ladies,”, consisting of his Mom, and his two daughters. He served as a Board Member for the Riverside Hawks in Harlem and is active in the lives of underprivileged minorities for whom guidance and direction is so desperately needed. He lives by his mantra: “Work Hard; Play Harder; Pray Hardest”. Horace believes it is a misconception that one shouldn’t mix business and personal life. In fact, he feels there is so much overlap between work and personal, more times than not, there are synergies. If we make it a point to recognize them, our business and personal lives will be more rewarding.
